We are the Seattle Solvers, a self-driven, community-based robotics team from Sammamish, Washington. We are thrilled to announce that after a dominant season—including serving as the 1st Alliance Captain at the Washington State Championship—we have officially qualified for the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas!
Currently ranked 32nd in the world, our team represents the top 0.5% of youth engineering globally. What started as a group of friends in FLL has grown into a world-class powerhouse of 10 boys and girls from local middle and high schools. As a self-funded team with zero membership fees, we rely entirely on the support of our community to bridge the $20,000+ gap for registration, international shipping, and student travel.
Our Impact: Spreading STEM Globally
We are passionate about ensuring STEM is accessible to everyone. Locally, we have taught over 100 students through our custom LEGO Robotics curriculum and currently mentor three FLL teams.
Internationally, we have partnered with the RISE Institute (indiarise.net) in rural India to pilot a full-year robotics curriculum for schools that lack STEM access. In 2025, our team spent 10 days in India training teachers to ensure these programs are sustainable and life-changing for students across the globe.
