Potato Patch People, led by Tribal Members Randy Burns and Elaine Burns Duncan, aim to create an Outdoor Classroom space at the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation to pass on knowledge about traditional uses of native plants for food, smudging, shelter, clothing, baskets, twine, medicinal teas, etc to local Paiute / Shoshone / Washoe youth.
We are organizing a series of work weekends to prepare this new outdoor educational space called "Stewardship Saturdays" during Spring / Summer 2023 and invite you to lend a hand & volunteer. If you can't make it, but would like to support this project, please consider making a donation here.
