Together, Chipurobo and eKitabu are growing inclusive robotics and AI coding clubs in Africa. In 2025, we trained 350 learners with robotics and coding skills through 15 school-based clubs, including Kapsabet School for the Deaf and Machakos School for the Blind. Our work in 2025 culminated in an in-person bootcamp at the July 2025 mEducation STEMtastic Adventures! Africa event. This year, we’re launching our inclusive robotics challenge at two schools for the blind in May 2026 to celebrate the International braille challenge, and hosting the first national robotics competition in Kenya.
