AI for Human Impact: A Global BASIS Hackathon is a free, student-led, fully online hackathon where BASIS high school students build AI tools that solve real problems in health, education, accessibility, and sustainability, designed with the people they're meant to help.
Your donation funds:
- $10,000+ in prizes for student teams
- Workshops, mentors, and tools that help beginners build their first AI project
- Event operations, so participation stays free for every student
7% of every contribution supports Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN).
Build week: February 6–12, 2027. Learn more at basisglobalhacks.com.
Sponsorship levels
Companies and organizations can sponsor at four levels. Benefits build from one level to the next.
- Community Sponsor ($1,000): name and logo in the website sponsor section, plus recognition in the post-event thank-you and winner recap.
- Innovation Sponsor ($3,000): everything in Community, plus logo in event communications, one sponsor spotlight, and optional recognition with a selected track.
- Impact Sponsor ($5,000): everything in Innovation, plus featured website placement, acknowledgement in opening and winner announcements, and the opportunity to propose a workshop or mentor session.
- Presenting Sponsor ($10,000): everything in Impact, plus top homepage logo placement, presenting sponsor recognition in primary event materials, and an optional prerecorded welcome message.
All recognition is subject to school and organizer approval, and sponsors have no influence over judging. To sponsor at one of these levels, or to offer API credits, mentors, or other in-kind support, email bisvglobalhackathon@gmail.com.
